Article I
Scope of the Warranty
This Warranty is valid only in the case of infestation by wood boring beetles as identified and established by the technical personnel of reputed third-party Pest Control Company & JubileePly representatives. Damages resulting from improper storage, handling, machining work, joinery, and/or other mechanical, chemical or any other treatments are not covered under this warranty.
This warranty covers the chemical treatment or, in very severe cases, replacement of the JubileePly plywood used in the infected furniture. Cash claims regarding additional costs incurred on the material during the process of conversion into various articles — labour, complementary materials such as laminates, veneers, paints, varnishes, lacquers or polish, components of solid timber, hardware fitted into the affected articles, or any other goods and services whatsoever used along with JubileePly plywood or the articles thereof, and any other alleged losses howsoever described — shall not be covered.
Article II
Nature of Infestation
Infestation by wood boring beetles shall be established beyond doubt, by the technical personnel of a reputed third-party Pest Control Company & JubileePly representatives, on the evidence of the discharge of fine wood dust from pin-sized holes on the affected material. Their findings shall be final and binding on all parties concerned.
Article III
Responsibilities of the Purchaser
The purchaser shall, within 7 days after purchase of the goods, get their eligibility for warranty accepted by a reputed third-party Pest Control Company & JubileePly by sending the full particulars of their purchase along with copies of invoice(s). Such letter shall provide full specifications of the articles being made with JubileePly Plywood, and other particulars relevant to the applicability of this warranty.
Representatives of JubileePly shall have the right to inspect the site of storage/operations of the purchaser, to confirm adherence to the terms of this warranty.
JubileePly Plywood products shall not be mixed with other varieties or brands of plywood, blockboard, veneers, particleboard, Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF), hardboard, and/or similar panel products manufactured from wood or other lignocellulosic materials, treated or untreated.
When JubileePly Plywood is used along with components of solid timber, the timber used shall be treated with fixed-type preservative chemicals by vacuum pressure impregnation.
The purchaser shall follow the manufacturer's instructions for storage, handling and working of JubileePly Plywood.
Any complaint regarding infestation by wood boring beetles shall be reported to the supplier within 24 hours of its discovery. If the affected sheets are unused, they should be immediately isolated from the unaffected lot.
Proof of purchase from our authorized outlet needs to be produced while lodging warranty claims. The purchaser shall not unilaterally decide to return any plywood which seems infested with wood boring beetles — the authority to implement the warranty rests solely with the reputed third-party Pest Control Company & JubileePly representatives.
The purchaser shall not take any steps to dismantle semi-finished or finished articles of JubileePly plywood and/or tamper with the affected plywood sheets, in any manner, without the approval of the reputed third-party Pest Control Company & JubileePly representatives.
